Summer Camp

SOUTHSIDE PLACE SUMMER CAMP - 2024

Get ready for another amazing year of Southside Camp! We are happy to announce that all camp leadership from summer of 2023 will be back this summer and are ready to continue building on the momentum they established. Abby Carrol, who began as camp director last year, will return this summer and is very excited to continue leading the camp.  Abby teaches math at YES Prep in Spring Branch and oversees all programming for the 9th grade. She also worked on the Camp Ozark leadership team, so she is very familiar with summer camp programming. The little room lead, Kale Kusler, is thrilled to return for her second year at camp. Kale is a kindergarten teacher in Rosenberg and has a lot of activities planned for our young campers this summer. Front desk attendant, Janite Grooms, will also be back and can’t wait to see everyone. Finally, our art room lead, Alex Bell is also returning for another summer and is counting down the days to the start of camp.

This year will be another amazing experience available only to Southside residents!  Campers must be season pass holders of the Southside Place Parks Department. If your family is not yet a season pass holder or if you have any other questions about camp, please contact Andrew Deavers at adeavers@southsideplacetx.gov.
