Nearly 100 residents came out on June 10, 2021 to thank Mayor Glenn "Pat" and Susan Patterson for their 20 years of public service to the City of Southside Place.
Join your friends and neighbors for the annual 4th of July Bike Parade on Sunday, July 4th. The parade will start at 10:00 AM. Those who wish to ride in the parade will gather in front of City Hall behind the Southside Place fire truck. The parade will proceed south on Edloe to Farbar and continue down Farbar to end at Firetruck Park. Decorate your bikes, trikes, and wagons in your favorite patriotic colors!
The pool will be open and the Southside Place Fire Department will be serving up hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, and drinks at the pool grill.
Join us for another great outdoor garden event. Live music and enjoyment for the whole family. Sunday, November 7, 2021, from 3 to 5 PM in the garden. Bring a blanket, your own food and drink. Enjoy traditional Texas and Bluegrass music from Lonestar Bluegrass Band Trio featuring Chris Hirsch.
The concert is free and generously sponsored by Southside Place USA.
In honor of the legacy of Lt. Al Baker, the Southside Place Police and Fire Departments will be hosting a toy drive supporting the Harris County Children's Assessment Center.
Pick up and return toy request cards with toys and/or gift cards or drop off monetary donations at the Southside Place Police Department.

On Saturday, December 11, 2021, from 10AM to 4PM, the Southside Place Police and Fire Departments along with the Baker family will be hosting a blood drive in memory of Lt. Alfonso "Al" Baker in the Town Center parking lot. A donor coach will be on site with appreciation gifts and refreshments provided to all donors. You can schedule an appointment at the link below.
